Crypto Market Snapshot: Sunday, November 8, 2026

Institutions Kept Selling: −$1.28B in ETF Outflows

3D bar chart of US spot Bitcoin ETF net flows Nov 2 to 6, 2026: four outflow days and one inflow day, totalling minus 1.28 billion dollars

US spot Bitcoin ETFs had four outflow days out of five. Monday −$398.6M, Tuesday −$115.6M, Wednesday +$74.6M, Thursday −$430.2M and Friday −$411.9M, for roughly −$1.28B on the week (Farside data via Coinpaper). BlackRock's IBIT accounted for −$403M on Friday, while Fidelity's FBTC took in +$42.8M. Price held up better than flows. That's encouraging, but it isn't a reversal until inflows return.

Bitcoin Price Analysis: Levels for the Weekly Close

  • Support: $74,800–$75,000 (tested on Friday), then the 200-day average near $73,200, then $70,000–$72,000.
  • Resistance: $76,500–$77,000 first. A reclaim of about $77,700, then a close above about $81,300, would mark a real recovery.

For perspective, CryptoTicker looked at how often Bitcoin ended a similar 53-day window in each range since 2020. In 30.1% of those windows it finished below $70K, in 16.6% between $80K and $90K, and in 17.8% above $100K. Those are base rates from history, not forecasts. They show how wide the range can be into year-end.

Monero (XMR): Back to Test $600

XMR gave back some of its gains today, trading near $600 (24h range about $599–$618). It's still up ~1.9% over seven days, while BTC is roughly flat. Watch $600 first, then about $580 below. On the upside, it needs to reclaim $620 and then $650. Background is unchanged: FCMP++ remains in stress testing with no mainnet date, and Kraken still supports XMR after withdrawing its October questionnaires.
