Masked Gunmen Steal Crypto USB in France as Tax Official Caught Selling Data to Gangs
Three masked individuals broke into a Manosque home on January 6 and seized a crypto USB drive after threatening the victim at gunpoint, as French prosecutors charged tax official Ghalia C. with accessing government databases to provide crypto investor addresses to organized crime for roughly 800 euros per operation amid 65 documented global attacks in 2025.
