HashFlare Ponzi Founders Get Time Served for $577M Crypto Scheme, Escape Additional Jail
Two Estonian men behind the $577M HashFlare Ponzi have been sentenced to time served after 16 months in custody, forfeiting over $450M in assets. Prosecutors, who sought 10-year terms, are considering an appeal over what they view as an unusually light penalty in one of crypto’s largest fraud cases.
