FCA Lifts 4-Year Retail Ban on Crypto ETNs – Access Returns Oct. 8
The FCA has restored retail access to crypto exchange-traded notes after more than four years, effective 8 October, if the products trade on recognised UK exchanges. The decision cites deeper investor understanding; FSCS cover will not apply, and the bar on crypto derivatives stays in place.
