Crypto Influencer Sentenced To Prison In Multi-Million Dollar ‘Cryptojacking’ Scam
The DOJ has described cryptojacking as the unauthorized use of others’ computing power to mine crypto. Charles O. Parks III has been sentenced to one year and a day; prosecutors have said he stole $3.5M in cloud resources and $1M in assets in 2021 for luxury spending.
