Bitcoin Mining Gets Greener as Canaan Recycles Heat for Agriculture
Canaan has launched a 3 MW Manitoba pilot that recycles Bitcoin Mining heat from 360 liquid-cooled Avalon units into a Canadian tomato greenhouse. The move comes as Kevin O'Leary has said buyers now want sustainably mined coins and Cambridge has reported renewables now power over 52% of the network.
