Arthur Hayes says he sold all his HYPE... to buy a Ferrari

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes sold his entire HYPE stash, netting over $800,000 in profit. The move comes just weeks after his wildly bullish 126x prediction.
BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes has sold off his entire Hyperliquid (HYPE) stash — seemingly, for a Ferrari — just a month after he tipped the token to surge around 126x over the next three years.
“Need to pay my deposit on the new Rari 849 Testarossa,” Hayes wrote on Sept. 21.
The post came after an X post from blockchain data platforms such as Lookonchain on Sept. 21 that said Hayes banked around $823,000 of profit on his 96,628 HYPE — netting him a 19.2% gain, according to data from HypurrScan.
